The purpose of this article is to examine the causes of phony memory and memory bias. Memory is usually influenced, in combination, by encoding, consolidation, and retrieval. Declarative memory can be long-term memory that can be divided into two parts: semantic memory and episodic memory. Semantic memory, composed of facts, is comparatively static, although episodic memory space, remembering an event, is more prone to distortions and unconscious improvements. Human storage is not precise as a result of influences of prior know-how and emotions, but the result of false memory is also caused by the three-step cognitive approach to encoding, debt consolidation, and collection.
At its simplest, encoding may be the initial belief of an event. False memories as a result of encoding have been hypothesized to happen due to similarities among imagined and perceived incidents. In other words, the mind remembers anything it constructed as something which really happened because it published the fake memory the same way that it produces real recollections.
